problem with editing players in cricket 2004

when i edited say nehra to make him med fast instead of medium...i went to team management...then copy base...then clicked on nehra..then edited...then add to database...clicked on nehra again!!

now when i went to foreign tours to select the squad there were 2 nehras!! same with chopra and dravid whom i edited!!!
am i doing anything wrong or is it a bug?? how do i delete the old player file?

Sounds to me as if you're copying the player, editing the copy and then adding the copy to the game.

then how do i edit players currently in the squad???

No idea, I don't have the game. There must be an edit player option you can click, instead of copy base.
