Problems playing the demo - C2002 eng vs aus

Hi,

I can't play c2002 demo. It shows some black ground for one over then becomes fine.

when I used the 50 over patch, the stadium seems missing. I can see the ground, the players and the sky.

can anyone help?

Quicky which patch are you talking about ???? I think there are three to four patches floating on the web at the moment !!!

his problem does not have anything to do with any patch.Its a grpahical bug experienced by many other users and if it happens in the demo it will probably happen in the full version too.Try to update your graphics card drivers,get directX8.a{NOT 8.1} and make sure direct3d acceleration is enabled by going to start-run-dxdiag.Run all the 3d related tests there.

It works fine with Direct X 8.0a but not with 8.1
But the opening screens and the menu are not showing properly.

Sorry to inform you again but the downgrade from DirectX 8.1 to 8a doesn't seem to work.

When I played the game again, I still found the stadium missing. Only the ground is visible. No problems while playing the game.

I am using the 50 over patch (demo expansion)

that happens with the demo expansion...i think everybody in the forum has had that problem.You can try fixing that by download the "stadium fix" from the downloads section of c2002 online although there are instances of the thing not working.
