Idea = to have a comman balanced realistically skilled team.

Usage.= those who love cricket and wanna play some realistic long format online games...>t20.

Y its needed and what r the benefits/ features....Chek below points.

As many of u who had played online for some time might know..by changing attributes to unrealistic settings one can win matches easily. Even I have done it .but no more. Its no more fun that way.
Many online leagues r happening with player auctions and teams get uploaded with a warning not 2 edit anything.. People still do it...
Also many teams in the academy r just plain rubbish.. With all wrong attributes and skills. Sad part is majority of players think the get best teams are the default teams made by big ant...
Another way which many are playing is by limiting max star of a team ..like say 4 star. So everybody will make a 4 star team with a 3 star lower order with all batsman set to brute and full strength attribute...again I have played myself many times like this ...but not again. No more unreal stuff.
Another example is making of all the 11 players to allrounders by Increasing all the skills. Many do that.

Yes. One can also edit comman 11 but it will be easier to recognize that. And if someone edit skills for this comman 11 team also.this thread is a waste of time for that player.

features of team comman 11


Tailenders play like real tailenders...near 0 star.
Main batsman will have to score majority of the runs.
Makes Top order wkts crucial.

Pace speed is max 151 for fast....
Slowest for fast medium is 113...(109 on bad pitch before fatigue coming into play)

mix of 5 .3. 4 . 2 helmet ratings players...
So good team balance.

Very dificult for Batsman 2 take wkts...as they have near to 0 skill in bowling.

Only 1 all rounder (medium pacer) which makes it essential to include genuine bowlers in ur squad
( as for long formats wkts r crucial)

Second change bowlers r less skilled than main bowlers.( will have to use overs of strike bowlers wisely)

Throw accuracy attribute is medium to low for majority of players(75%)...no more unreal direct hits. Over throws r also possible while aiming for the stumps.

Mix of
precise.
Aggressive.
Brute players
.( so u have to know which player to use as a pinch hitter)

Strength attribute is near to max for all bowlers... ( so after bowling 5 6 overs hopefully those unreal slow balls r gone now..more testing neeeded.)

Consistency attribute play major rule in edges.so edited players according to there helmet rating.

2 rating players can b used as utility players.( they r not allrounders) . Good for shorter formats.

Every player is good in certain way. Ex. Some r better front foot players .some play better on off side etc. Brings variety.

Pitch condition to be decided before the match between players. Then accordingly team selection.


##About 4 n 5 helmet rated players..how they will make squad selection interesting..

Players with xx in there name (ex. Opener xx) r 4 or 5 helmet rated. These r specialist players only good in 1 particular skill .

There r total 7 xx players in the squad of 16.
4 bowlers 3 batsman.
Max 5 xx players allowed in the 11.
So if one wants strong batting he may add more xx batsman and for lethal bowling attacks add more xx bowlers. All combinations r possible.

I feel this will bring squad selection into play and hopefully make things more interesting.

Loved it..
Played with comman 11 few days ago on a dry and once on a green pitch.
It was more realistic than what we used to play.
We really have to build the innings and play well with the top order batsman, as lower over plays like tailenders.
In a bowling department skilled bowlers were bowling accurately and were taking wickets more often, while part timers or all rounders didnt get much purchase of the wicket.
Till now in a online matches i used to play with 11 genuine all rounders, but with team i experienced completely different gameplay. It was more enjoyable and more real.

What Big Ant actually need to do is make the ability for a team creator to completely Lock a team for download/editing.

That way when a Tourney organiser puts together the teams for download , everyone will be as he envisaged it.

No "after market" parts once downloaded :)
 
Great work @chaman82 I have already played 1 game with Comman 11 Team, and indeed the experience is much more authentic and satisfying. Most of us who play lots of Online Matches, we are now bored of our 4/5 star teams with maximum ability etc...Now more than win, we want to experience the true pleasure of playing Cricket as it should be played. All the best Chaman, and looking forward to contribute more to your testing..
 
You here too with your comman 11. :p. Great stuff man. Didnt get chance to play with you but will surely play this weekend.

On the skills locking thing,we cant expect much more from Bigant after all these updates and their continued support but skill locking would be a great addition.

Just played a Odi with IMG-20150925-WA0001.jpeg dbcsahil What a match. A thriller. Chek scorecard.
Some more editing done to
comman 11...
Running speed and acceleration reduced overall.
resulting in some realistic running between the wkts and fielders also not taking those fast sprinting catches.
 
New Odi tournament started using comman 11 on PC version of dbc14.

Chek pre planned pitch conditions.
Make ur lineup.
Play.

Latest odi rules.

2nd. 11-40over(4 outfielder)
3rd. 41-50over(5 outfielder)
2 bouncer
2 reviews.


Max 5 xx player in lineup.
Xx player r 4 n 5 helmet rated player. Select them according to pitch conditions n ur strength.

Each player play twice each other.
Top 2 play grand final.

Prize.
Winning player gets to use 6 XX player in his future comman 11 matches.

General tips for playing with comman 11.

This is a real stuff team.
Chek team players carefully.
Chek there weakness n strengths.
Use them accordingly.
Pitch conditions play major role.
Select team accordingly.
Forget all ur previous dbc14 tricks.
This require real (basic) cricket strategy.
Use xx player wisely They r like gold.
Overthrows r possible.
Running is slow(real ).
Fatigue brings slow balls into play.
Try to bat complete overs as each run counts.
