Random Thoughts

FFS, my internet has been phasing in and our for the last week.
It takes at least half an hour to get up and running, and then when it does, every 10 minutes it stops working for five minutes.

I've now only got four more days of school left ever next week, I'm not sure whether to be happy or sad.

Be Happy :D

I like what Mods have done with the issues forum. There were too many sentimental kids trying to discuss what they did not understand there.

Touche. I couldn't wait to get outta school.

There's only one real downside of not being at school, and that's not having all of your school friends in the same place. Everything else is so much better once you're out of school.

I'm still tossing up on whether to do Engineering, or a science (stats)/commerce (finance) conjoint, thoughts Jono as you've been there a year?

I'm not really the sort of person to ask, it depends more on what you enjoy. Maybe talk to your careers person at school or something?

First year commerce is pretty easy.

Are conjoints much more work than a non-conjoint?

It depends on what conjoint you do. Normally you take 8 papers a year, which is 4 a semester. Some conjoints require you to do 5 papers in some semesters, but I don't think a Science/Commerce conjoint is one of those. Engineering itself is quite a bit of work for a single degree, and the conjoint wouldn't be too much more work than that.

In your first two years of a Science/Commerce degree all you basically do is first year commerce and first year science with papers split across both years.

in addition to the new changes we need a stickied nerd thread for Chewie and the schooboys to do their homework. Those of us done with school never want to hear the words homework again

Nah, I find it better in every way. Still see all my good mates when I go back home. Plus I don't have to put up with the idiots I went to school with.

I'm hoping to get a new game today. I just hope I have a while to play it, due to the amount of college work I need to do. :(

lol when I was at gamefaqs few years ago, there were girls playing pokemon.
