Random Thoughts

Well Canada and Egypt also just got suggested on fb chat. Woop to being the old fart who will be 21 by the summer and will be the only one old enough to rent a car.....

Went to Egypt last Feb so can offer some advice. Depends when you are going, the time we went was during the "winter" and was 30C. If you're going in June/July/August, expect very, very high temperatures. That may be obvious, but consider it.

As for the place itself. Beautiful place (I went to Sharm), if you want to do something water based, Sharm is the place to go (well, Shark attacks of late excluded). Red Sea itself is incredibly salty, but so clear, as in, almost endless visibility. Remember any Muslim country will have pretty poor alcohol available, Tunisia will be like Egypt in that respect. The tipping culture can also be annoying, but meh, you'd probably get that in Canada. I'd definitely go back, but not in the summer heat.

Also, Sheesha for the win.

Be sure to bathe in the Sea as much as possible in Egypt Tom. Completely safe at the moment...

Well the place we are looking at is on the Red Sea. I have raised the point about lack of alcohol in Muslim countries, but I have been shouted down, so expect to see a group of British tourists appearing on the news having been arrested :p Place we are looking at seems amazing, well too nice for the cheap price I'm trying to research it to see what the catch is but can't find one at the moment.

LOL, the way I swim, a bath is the deepest depth of water I'm comfortable in. Really don't like swimming unless I have to.

He'd probably end up sleeping with it.

Nothing wrong with a bit of biting ;)

Why did I have to take Culture and Tourism?

And on that note...Harold and Kumar is far more interesting, and that's not a good thing with 6 days left to my exams.

Alcohol isn't particularly hard to get a hold of (ours was all Inc), but it's pretty rough lager. The beaches there are incredible.

It's always the Jews :rolleyes

Did you know that no Muslim has ever actually done anything bad? it's always Jews pretending to be Muslims.

Something about "what we do in all of life resonates eternally"
That will be annoying if you ever want to wear short sleeves to work.

What we do in life, echoes through eternity. It's a quote from Gladiator is I recall correctly
