I would have liked it to be a cricket one, though I have lost much of my interest in cricket, especially because of the IPL and match fixing stuff (although unproved), so I don't care much.

Just enjoy the game of cricket(with your friends?) and just ignore those match fixing stuffs.
And I don't think IPL is boring, though the huge time-table makes it so.

Haha , I've been really inconsistent on that part ...

1996-2002 Cricket maniac
2002-2007 Totally gave up cricket for Soccer
2007-2009 Back to cricket , though only like 40%
2009-present Been relying more on cricket , for England are performing wayyy better than Liverpool in soccer .

Not to mention that I was almost into Rugby in 2003 .

Yeah, I am more into basketball now. It might be a money game, but players like Rose, James, Durant, Nowitzki etc are worth watching.

Same here, will never lose passion for cricket. And even I begun watching cricket since 2003; 2003 WC to be precise.
