Anyone got any ideas for a simple arcade-style game that I can make for my CompSci assignment? (FTR Java)

I've just been sitting here for the last hour, but I can't seem to think of anything.

The likes of Snake, Pong, Pacman, etc. are all legit, but I want to do something semi-original.

I couldn't actually remember that, but after looking it up, it actually looks like a possibility. (Something like tetris)

I already thought of that, but it'll probably be too hard for me. I only know how to do basic 2D animation, like rectangles/circles etc.

I have started making a sim (very basic), will probably work on it more over the mid-sem break in a month.

I thought about a basic car game (like very basic), but I cbf implementing AI etc.

And yeah, that'd be way too hard for me.

Yeah, as far as I know 111's more for people who want an introduction to computers etc., aren't their assignments like designing websites?

101 (and then 105) are more for people who are looking to major in CompSci/looking for an intro. to programming.

Yup their labs are using excel, designing a website, a bit of programming in Python and LaTeX, etc. Really basic stuff

My gf is and I go along to her lectures when she goes (she normally skips lol). I find them more interesting than she does :/
