Well I read the first five or so threads in the main forum, and only two of those threads had a constructive discussion. I don't want to take any certain names but seriously, it was unpleasant and disappointing.

Are you referring to the 'Teams you root' thread or the forum-wide battle between puddleduck and teamindia?

Yeah, that thread. And two more threads, 'Indian Test Cricket' and 'Cheating in Cricket'. I don't visit the CD section often, so I had no idea whatsoever of the battle between puddleduck and teamindia. You guys are obviously acclimatized to it to an extent, but for someone like me, who visits that part only once in a while just to read some constructive and healthy cricket discussion, it is disappointing to see such threads and posts in increased volume everytime. The last time I visited the CBS thread (at the end of the Test series I guess), it was the same as well, and before that, and before that, upto about the time of the world cup....

The main reason is that a lot kids post in those threads, and most of them are from India. Doesn't help either when the mature Indian posters are morons like Sai Srini and teamindia. They give a bad image about the Indian fan-base. I know it's not repersentative, as there are quality Indian posters on the forum - you, Zorax, shravi, User etc.

I apologise Varun, I will admit to having found actual cricketing chat incredibly difficult? Even if I posit a question, I don't seem to get any actual relevant answers.

Might just have to bite the bullet and take the Tom approach haha Ignore, and occassionally wind up
