Costal Andhra is suffering, not entire AP. Rainfall of 31 CM, the highest ever in history. My place is drying after suffering 3 days of continuous rainfall. Its sunny though.
I feel lucky to have really bright sunshine in here, seeing how much rain has fallen there.
This is just brutal having my last exam on the day after Guy Fawkes. I'm already bloody tired after having four exams last week, and now I have to try and study to the continuous sound of Fireworks going off.

Been a while since I had a glance at the forum, thought I'd pop in and see how everyone is. To all that knew me, hope all is well. If you wish you may proceed to give me a brief update of your life over the past year to 6 months...
Currently amidst the wonders of student life that is my final year of uni. Would be good if any of you that I got on with have twitter. Follow me at @JackWTeague and maybe we can catch up. I did indeed. Many a story was started and not completed in my time. Just don't find the time or interest to log on anymore. Going to have to say the cliche: the forum just isn't what it once was.

so many forums i go on have the same issue.
i think the problem is that the age of the forum is no more, really.
at the risk of sounding like a teenager who wants to be alternative, forums are a lot more mainstream now. they used to be the domain of the more nerdy types, the people who used them tended to have a big interest in whatever niche of forum it was and was generally a bit nerdy. Nowadays everyone and their annoying teenage nieces use forums.
At the risk of sounding elitest forums used to attract the more articulate types. Generally it was those looking not just to spout their opinion but to actually discuss and get different views. Now their appeal is a lot broader - the extra diversity has a lot of positives, but also bring in a lot of annoying people who just want a platform to espouse their nonsense to more people.

I just think all the teenagers that join forums like this one grow up on the forum and then out grow it as life starts to turn 'serious'. It's a shame as I imagine the forum would still be thriving if so many of the older members had stuck around and continued to contribute.
