I would prefer a good Internet connection, instead of a TV, because it's cheaper and more applicable

MTNL, they're the same though I guess

It's different. MTNL is Mahangar Telecom Nigam Limited whereas, BSNL is Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited. MTNL has got internet rights only in 2 circles but BSNL has internet rights in 20 circles.
