I don't think so. I was an imbecile when I was a bit younger but I don't think I was enough of an imbecile to call myself 'Sk8erboy'. I remember being Pepi, Skateboarder2, Skateboarder and now Skater. The irony being I haven't even touched a skateboard since 2004.
