It's definitely a bit different to the rest of England.

I wouldn't say it's better or worse. It's pretty much as different to london/the other english cities as the scottish cities are.

^Every year we get these articles in the UK. I hope it does snow this year or early next as I love witnessing all of the unnecessary panicking Plus we didn't get any snow down the south east last year so we're due some.

Or, more specifically, from the Daily Express. This blog points out the Express have tried to tell us the worst winter for 100 years is on its way for the last four years, and they've had a go this year too.

Fact is, we never get 'months of heavy snow' here, do we? We get a few weeks at most. We didn't get a single flake last year, and to be honest I like it that way as there's no disruption to football, you don't have to clear the car of snow before going out and the news isn't full of people's bloody snowman pictures.

Went out with the work lot tonight, we went for a nice indian. I had a chicken korma (my favourite indian dish), was absolutely delicious!

I'm not a big drinker either but I managed 4 pints and felt fine which surprised me.
