For all those having a problem with micro or macro transactions. Just a comment from us. In an ideal world we would love the idea of making a premium game for $10 and that's that. But gone are those days. Premium games have the fewest downloads seen by the industry in history.
At the same time we need to make money in order to sustain both the game and the company. We developers are people and have chosen this to be our career which can sustain our daily lives. With regard to the $90 bat. Let me give you an idea of how many paid users (paid meaning anyone who spends even $0.10) the answer is an astonishing 1.4% out of the total of over 30 million users. That said the $90 bat has been purchased by a few users, not many. It's a choice and in no means mandatory. But those users who did wish to voluntarily purchase this help offset all the 98.6% who don't at all.
I have been developing games from the time where there was no such thing as freemium.
Wrt to the modded and hacked apks. Dear Friend it is piracy and there cannot be any other legal explanation to it! It's like going to a shop to buy something you think might interest you and walk out through the emergency exit without paying for it. The shopkeeper never forced you to buy anything from his shop. You can enter for free and leave for free. But you chose to walk out the back door with the item in your pocket.
P.S. - thanks Parth for your comments.
Also, game releases as Early Access tomorrow night on the Google Play Store. We have a lot of surprises which we have not shown in the trailer. Let me know what all of you think.
