Is it possible to do remote play from a vita?, if not are there any plans to allow remote play in the future?

Does anyone play this game using Remote Play on the PS Vita with the PS4?
Does it play ok over Wifi?
How about over the Internet?

I'm considering getting one because I only have one TV that I share with my wife... So it'd be good to just connect the Vita to the PS4 on Wifi, and play while the missus continues to watch her crappy shows. :-)

Remote play works pretty well from PS4 to Vita. Probably better with this game than with most. You need a decent speed WiFi though. Works best when connected directly to the ps4 in the same room (when someone else is using the TV for example). Main issue is with the controls. Only two shoulder buttons on the Vita means that for the shots youd normally play with L1/R1 you have to use the Touchpad on the back of the Vita, which can be awkward. But you get used to it. Overall its an enjoyable experience.

Great answer, thanks!

I was thinking the shoulder buttons might make it difficult...but I think I'll give it a go.
Thanks!

Remote Play also works officially on few Sony devices and unofficially on all android devices(thanks to a tweak). DBC supports remote play as printed on the back of the game box and works flawlessly on my Samsung device with hardly any input lag. You can also plug in your DS4 controller if your phone supports usb otg or connect it wirelessly using bluetooth. :thumbs

OK.,so may I know what's the tweak ?

Just bought a PS Vita an played a game of DBC using remote play.
It worked well.
For batting:-
L2/R2 works as the PS Vita's L1/R1... So sprint and lofted shot use the shoulder buttons... Which I like.

L1/R1 works as the Vita's rear touch pad.
So unorthodox shot and advance down the wicket are used by the touchpad.
There's a blue image shown at the top of the screen that shows when you press either of these.

So buttons are different for pre-shot... Like tap the lower left corner of the screen for look through the batsman's eyes, the right analog stick for rotate around the field.

I'll see if I can put a video together for you soon.

Just wondering if anyone has thoughts around allowing the vary pressures of L2/R2 in the game?
I.e on PS4, if you only half press L2 you get a semi-lofted shot (I think).... And half pressing R2 you kinda push it in a direction.
Not sure if the game also has this in other aspects (bowling, fielding)... But I was thinking, is it possible to even do this with the PS Vita? How can you half-press the touchpad?

I know the buttons are different, I.e Lofted shot is L1 on the Vita... But I was just thinking... Physically... What is possible?

P.S allowing custom controls in the next game would be cool. I just ordered the Joetsu L2/R2 grip, so it'd be nice to be able to use the same controls as PS4 for it.

Again, not sure how that'd work for pressure sensitive buttons like the triggers.

The Vita does indeed have pressure sensitive touchpads. It's hard to gauge though from a physical standpoint when touching them if you're actually applying more or less pressure. But I can tell you there's definitely the ability to lightly and heavily touch the buttons on the back and front and have it considered as such.

We tried to cater the controls as well as possible for Vita when initially setting the game up, obviously over time new shots have come in but everything still should feel as good as it can for what we have to work with.
