Personally I don't like T20s as much, especially Int'l T20s are a joke. I will just restrict myself to naming players/teams, etc. based on performances in both Tests and ODIs.

Failure of the year - Ishant (Its mental to name him a failure when he is 5th highest wicket taker in 2014. Those who have followed Indian cricket this year, will still understand why I name him here).

Best Team - NZ (Didn't lose a single test series all year won 2 drew 1 in Pak which was a great result given what they had done to AUs just before that. In ODIs won 3 of the 4 series they played, losing only to SA).

Amla's 208* was my best, just because he looks so controlled in the middle, like he can bat for the full 5 days without putting a step wrong.
