Rookie help required - keyboard

Sorry guys, I know this is probably way beneath you! I seriously cannot get the keyboard batting controls to work. I bought the game second hand with no manual, so as such am having difficulties working out the keys.
i have worked out that W selects a back-foot shot, and S selects a front foot. A is supposed to "attack" the ball, but this appears not to work. Dunno what D is supposed to do. Left shift is supposed to give more power, but as I cant do anything except defensive strokes this is of no use to me! Ther left and right arrow keys move thje batsman. There is nothing in the Key map section to alter the buttons for the individual shots, so I have no idea what they are supposed to be. I have tried the number keys with numlock on, and they seem to have effect. PLEASE HELP!!!

Sorry, but due to the risk of people having pirated versions of the game, the controls will not be given on this forum, wether the reason for having no manual is legitimate or not.

Try contacting EA Sports, they may send you a manual.
