Brian Lara Shield ROUND 1 - GAME 2 - The Avengers v The Boys @The Floating Marvel | A HARD-FOUGHT BATTLE!

What a start we got , couldn't cash in and lowkey disappointed that we couldn't get them all out today itself as we even got first 4 wickets in regular interval.

The boys showed good mettle in the middle lateron. Hoping our bowlers will come back stronger tomorrow.

Balanced wicket, so it’s an excellent first day for us. Need to get them out for 250 ideally.

That was a perfect start of us as @Velocity and @Neptune provided early breakthrough of us by uprooting both the openers in quick succession.

But things began to turn when @ahmedleo414 and @GuyIncognito began their solid defence. @GuyIncognito especially stood out there facing the gruelling deliveries out there on the field which proved to be a solid sheet anchor.

All thanks to @Velocity once again who provided the much needed wicket to break the partnership which also led a lapse in concentration for @ahmedleo414 and we got two scalps for the price of one.

But the purple parade was once again halted by the likes of @Bigby Wolf and @Na Maloom Afraad who began the important recovery for them.

@Velocity had to intervene for the third time to break an important developing partnership yet again. Clearly it was his day to recall.

He was well supported by his fellow teammates @AsadRM @ABDULLAH and @Neptune . Over all they managed to keep the batsmen quite.

In a nut shell, the day came to a close with the match evenly poised at the moment, however The Boys will be the happier team going back into the dugout at the end of day's play.

Restricting them below 275 will mean we go into the batting with the upper hand. Let's see if this indeed comes to fruition or not.

I mean come on! We all knew how great @Bigby Wolf is! They have already won the first day, just matter right??? IYK! ;)

That was some tight bowling from us on day one. Credit to the boys for decent recovery after that terrible start. Need to get rid of Bigby Wolf early, he looks a real threat atm. Anything below 275 would be great.

Guy "sheet anchor" Incognito.

Definitely will take that, our choice to pick 5 good bowlers seems to have paid off
