A flurry of wickets in the middle-overs stifles The Avengers greatly to undermine their dominance for the majority of this innings.

Asad Raza delivered a phenomenal final over to defend six runs for The Avengers, which resulted in a tie. But he could not pick up a wicket to end the game right there and then, even though The Boys' No.11 Ed Smith was on-strike for the start of the over. An evenly-matched contest between two evenly-matched competitors. KGFisbetterthanRRR top-scored for The Boys with a commanding 74 from 94 deliveries up-top. Suman Mohanty played a crucial part to see off the new-ball threat alongside KGFisbetterthanRRR, as the two batters added a 99-run stand for the first wicket. After Neptune Gaming provided a much-needed breakthrough by getting rid of Suman Mohanty, Momin Schawonn bowled a brilliant spell to disarm The Boys' middle-order by getting rid of Dimuthu P. Warnakulasuriya and Ahmed Leo for cheap scores, putting The Boys' back against the wall. But KGFisbetterthanRRR carried on with his brilliance, and was aided adequately by Bigby Wolf and Mother's Milk in the middle overs. Neptune Gaming made massive inroads by getting rid of KGFisbetterthanRRR at a crucial stage in the game. A breakthrough which Momin Schawonn and Sergio Marquina capitalized brilliantly. The Avengers' bowlers ran rampant on The Boys' lower-order, but an unmoving, unflinching Abdul Rafay trudged The Boys towards the target. He and Ed Smith added 25 runs for the final wicket to tie the game, but despite their best efforts, they could not complete a win.
