We are probably not gonna make it due to lesser net run rate. Good win nevertheless. As for our campaign, Shubman Gill was like 50% of the reason why we managed to win half the games. Rest 50% would go to Rashid Khan and Jos Buttler with contributions from other players. Magala was good in the first half and Starc massively underperformed. Really foolish of me to drop Buttler for that one game. Made a huge blunder in the auctions by spending most of my money on just four players in the first round. I really need to calculate my finances better. Had I tried to make a more balanced squad, we could have been a stronger outfit.

I am not looking at the stats or anything, just going with the gut feeling, on how these players will perform.

Rassie the best odi batter not in top 3 run getter, Henry not in top 10 wicket takers tells the story of our season, if we have any chance of winning, these two guys need to fire.

I still pick Shakib, in addition to being no 1 allrounder, he has always done well in overseas condition, he alone won matches for Bangladesh in 2019 world cup in England with both bat & ball, here he has match winners to support him, so I still pick Shakib and back him to perform.

Batting still 9, with four quality bowlers, I hope we'll perform well.

A last minute inclusion in the squad, former Paarl Boys High (South Africa) student Dawid Malan absolutely murdered the
Joburg Super Kings bowlers. Malan scored his ton in style with a six! His ton came of only 57 balls. Sunrisers Eastern Cape's all-rounders
Green and Mulder also came to the party securing a decent total of 355/7. Will it be enough though?
 
Wow Malan was batting in T20 mode there. 350ish in a semi final is a pressure chase but our batters will enjoy this I am sure. Let's do it!
