I agree. But in India, now there is a big urge to pull each and every celebrity into Twitter. There are certain stars already on Twitter who pledge to pull all their close friends (who are celebrities) into Twitter. Sachin has just succumbed to pressure from his fellow celebrity friends to join Twitter. I find it wierd to see Twitter being the hub for celebrities (even Obama is on it).

He has 120,000 followers in 36 hours or so. There is a campaign going on to try and make him the No. 1 followed celebrity on Twitter, beating Ashton Hutcher (who has 5 million followers). Shows how many people are jobless in India and are so celebrity crazy.

I still can't understand what's the point of following him on Twitter? Will he become your close relative by doing so? Why are you so interested in reading what he do? Are you going to use the same branded toilet paper which he uses. Do you really think he has so much time to reply all his fan questions? You don't need to follow him to show you are fan of him.

There are many people who waits for whole night just for his reply. Surely, they have nothing better to do.
