According to the reports , PCB Chairman Shahryar Khan said that their Ace bowler has withdrawn his name from WC Team as He doesnt see Himself with a rectified action before World Cup.
Ajmal was supposed to go for the action's tests in India on 8 of this December but PCB postponed it to allow Saeed some time and took some unofficial Tests of his action in England where all His deliveries except Doosra were found to be legal which led to His withdrawl.

Saeed Ajmal puts Himself out of the World Cup - Cricinfo.

Bit rough the ICC's crackdown on suspect actions. They didn't have the balls to call Murali out on his throwing, but now they're more than happy to crack down on people who would probably have legal actions if they weren't trying to emulate a chucker the ICC all but endorsed throughout his career.

Should have either banned Muralitharan, or just change the rule, can't have one rule for really high profile players and another for everyone else.

Also Pragyan Ohja is also banned. Surprising amount of players being withdrawn for the game. Want to know more about Ashwin action, as it is quite similar to Hafeez's.

Ashwin probably has the most unique action in the word cricket right now. It is in no way similar to Hafeez. For me, Hafeez had a pretty simple action.

This isn't surprising tbh: the guy was never going to completely transform his action and have his bowling be international standard in six months... The guy's done: Pakistan should focus on developing younger spinners...

Should have either banned Muralitharan, or just change the rule

they did change the rules: it used to be 15degs allowed for fast bowlers and 5degs allowed for spinners before they tested a bunch of players and found that lots of players with proper actions who were seen as non-chuckers technically straightened their arm more than 5 degrees, and that 15 was a much more sensible limit. Those rules are sensible since it allows a margin of error for the bowlers while ensuring that the game isn't completely transformed by allowing people to throw baseball style stuff...

The situations are hardly comparable: Murali was tested after the 15 degree rules were adopted and had his action cleared: Ajmal was tested and was not only found to have a bad action: but one so bad that he straightened his arm almost three times more than the limits. Its not like Ajmal was anywhere near the limit: he averaged 40 degrees of straightening! If you were to allow that then you'd be changing the way cricket is played for the worse.

The sooner they get in-game testing properly worked out, the better because I can't be arsed having any more of these arguments!

According to the reports of the Unofficial Test of his Action taken at the Louborough University in England , His Off Spinner and Quicker Delivery were found Ok but His Doosra still needed to be rectified.
I am curious about the thing that why doesn't he tend to play without
the Doosra.

They are comparable in the sense that, at a time when he was bowling his action was illegal, and the rules were modified to accommodate his action. If he was banned I doubt other selectors/domestic systems would have been willing to 'test' the ICC by allowing more and more suspect actions through.

I don't have anything against Muralitharan and his action, and it is probably wrong to blame him and the ICC for the end/derailment of some careers. It is more the fault of coaches and support staff in the domestic systems for not policing actions very well (Australia, England and India being exceptions to my knowledge) that has forced the ICC to crack down. Still find it a bit unfair a player can bowl in over a hundred international level games and then be told their action is illegal.

The ICC was always going to have to draw a line in the sand eventually, and a bit of collateral career damage was probably inevitable. Just an unfortunate situation all round.

Trouble for Pakistan. Ajmal out of the World Cup and with Hafeez under investigation. They may have a tough time in finding quality spinners.

What the ICC could do for the benefit of all nations affected by the bowling rule changes- Have a particular day on which they can test the banned bowlers. If they pass the test, let them play in the World Cup.

One more thing-this World Cup could be marred by a lot of controversies like bowlers getting banned and all.

They have cleared Senanyke and Williamson lately. Even Ajmal and Hafeez were to go under tests for their actions later this month in India but after failing of the Doosra in the unofficial test , Ajmal has withdrew his name from the Test.
Even Narine has been shielded from the International circuit ever since His action got suspected.

Have you been following Pakistan cricket lately?

What I intended to say was they may have trouble getting someone of similar quality. The plus with Hafeez is the obvious fact that he can bat also. Instead of playing a pure spinner, he lends depth to the side with his batting element.
