Hi I am still amateur in playing this game. When playing on hard mode, I get leg before to short pitched spining deliveries. What is the safest shot to combat such deliveries?

If they're outside off cut them, otherwise I use the backfoot drives.
I'm having more problems with short pitched deliveries with Ravi11 from fast bowlers; everytime I try and hook it I get caught at square leg...

If the ball was outside off-stump I doubt that he would be getting out lbw...but with this game you never know

yeah if the ball pitches aoutside the line of the stumps I do not get out I am talking of the short pitch balls pitched in line of the stumps that turn slightly in (for off spinner) or out (for leg spinner). Always get LBW

I give myself plenty of room, stand well legside of where the ball pitches. Then if it goes straight or spins only a little u can play a front foot defensive.

If it spins a lot then work it to the legside.

I would either defend, play a back foot leg glance,or a back foot drive depending on where the ball pitches. If you are a right handed batsman facing an off-spinner,it is safest to play either a leg glance or on drive.

never a true'er word said lol :p

The Best way to play shot pitch deliveries in cricket 2004 is to dance down the track and defend all play the ball straight over the bowlers head according to field positions
