Stroke Editor Tutorial

ok....so basically i'll be overwriting the default 8 digit vales with the my new 9 digit values with refrence to stroke wheel.

will it work? coz i'm overwriting the default format of direction of cricket 2004 with my own which is based the concept for cricket 2002.

That is correct - you would be overwriting the default 8 digit values. It certainly should work. Obviously back up yor gob file first !!

Actually shailesh's stroke wheel is based on the concept of BLC, not Cricket 2002. Just shows that HB have done nothing to this side of the game in all these years

ok...thnx A LOT zim.....for being patient and answering my question.

but one more thing which i asked earlier also in one of my posts that :

how will i know as to where the shot will go by looking at the 8 digit direction value?

thnx zim.

:D :D :D MY 200th POST :D :D :D

You won't know I am afraid - no one has cracked the 8 digit values.

It has already been defined mate.Read all posts carefully in future::

PowerArea 516947
Like direction, it would be boring if each stroke was always hit with the same power. The higher this value the greater the power variation from the Power value set.
E.g if Power set to 2500000 (good power) and PowerArea = 700000, then high chance of this shot being hit with super power (eg Power 3000000) and high chance also of this shot being hit with low power (eg Power 1500000). If PowerArea for this shot was set to 1000000, then low chance of any variation of the shot being hit with anything other than 2500000 power.

For guidance:
PowerArea 6000000 = good variation of Power Ranges
PowerArea 9999999 = high variation of Power Ranges
PowerArea 1000000 = low variation of Power Ranges

TAKEN FROM ZIM'S TUTORIAL....

For anyone who is interested, you know the defensive shot where (usually tailenders) batsmen take one hand off the bat, turn their head away and fend off the rising ball?

Well I have discovered that this relates to the back def4 stroke file.

E.g. I now have the ball popping up in the air towards slip for this stroke etc

Nice one.

can we confirm 100% that the strokewheel works?

Ofcourse it works.how else do you think the patch makers would have been able to modify strokes direction ??

any one wantng more accurate descriptions of how to find and change shot directions and elevations check out my thread on the stroke editor tutorial
