In one of Ste's About us stories he said that someone called Dave threatened to take legal action against EA for breaking rules by saying stuff was in the game on the box that actually wasn't. In reply EA made a big patch that put the features mentioned in as a settlement so EA didn't have to go to court about it- wouldn't this be possible with Cricket 2004?

Well we tried a polite patch request but that failed. You have a lot of time and expertise to mount that sort of thing. Plus there is nothing erroneous on the box this time as far as I am aware.

seriously though, it says trade your player which we can't do with out the lineup editor.......
I didn't know Andrew Wilson was from EA australia and that he was Development manager, producer and Business affairs manager of cricket 2004, i thought he was a liason like rubbergenius

Most of this is bogus, but you can trade your player. Go to the create player option and you can trade players to different counties/states and countries.
Don't know about 'Career style modes' though.

What's tragic about the 'all new season mode' bit is that they started to implement it and then gave up. It's half finished. Maybe you only get it if you finish it yourself.
If EA come to me asking me if I want to advance publicity/interviews etc for C2k5 I'm going to tell them to shove it.

I'd actually do it, and give them a full list of Cricket 2004 "features" and ask them to tell you how to find them in the game, and ask why we should believe a word they say about it.

Well in the process of telling them to shove it I'm sure I'd have worked that in. I reckon if BLIC is good the whole cricket gaming community should boycott C2k5; no patches, no help nothing (I know it's never going to happen but EA deserve it).
