gr8 stuff sam!! sjust 1 suggestion....cud u please make 1 exe that contains all your updates....including lineup fix....run out fix....keeper byes fix and this latest 1...plus the no cursor....wud be gr8 if possible...keep up the gr8 work...thanx!!

Well i've stopped playing with the demo exe for now......why? 3 reasons....

1. Way too many edges
2. Way too much spin for the legendary bowlers.
3. Way too many balls going through the bat.

i hope sam will look into it and improve these in the final patch and also take notice to make the pace bowlers swinging the ball thing more realistic.

Yes i too agree with tutsi since the ball going through the bat is the most disappointing one other ones we can negotiate while playing .

I hope sam does fixthis problem soon in the demo itself so that we can keep using this till we get the original one that is the final one.

Something is Better Than Nothing!

Guys!, the only solun so far i figured out is making the bowler less accurate!(i.e. by increasing the value of TargetSizeMax and TargetSizeMin, 1.50 and 0.50 respectively!), though look ugly at times, works well so far!, CPU and My self can take a breather now!,(Now the ball sprays a bit all over..., thus the ball now away from the stumps more), Still trying other thinks is well, something gonna give!, will tell u more abt it later...(b4 that i expect the Sam's new exe eagerly...),

I wouldnt go that far tutsi, I think its really good, to say that all those things happen WAY to much is over the top, the ball only rarely goes through the bat, I just finished a match and it happened to me twice, which althoug looks stupid when it happens, have you ever seen a batsmen play and hit every ball, just pretend that its going just on the inside of the bat.

No doubt something is better than nothing,the people who are scoring a lot can use this exe for batting and have a tough match in their hand.Untill final version is emerged.

Well first off, i agree with Pat, second off i agree with Tutsi. Sam is a legend round here and hats off to him. Just a few edits of that exe, mainly the ball hitting the bat and making the cpu bat better and it will be a great exe.

come'on man......ball going throught the bat. imagine in a test match where wickets are the most important thing, defending a ball and seeing it go through the bat and hit the stump.

i know and admit that sam is one of the biggest patchers but it doesn't mean that we cannot talk against his patches or tell him whats wrong in his patches. for me it doesn''t matter who the guy is, if i find and feel something wrong i have no probs in saying it on his face.

I think i have sorted the edges and ball passing thru the bat problem.

1.<To sort the edges>:

After playing around with the following:
-BatEdgeDifficulty
-BatEdgeStroke
-BatEdgeAverage

I found that dividing them ALL by 3 made the edges down to a respectable level again.

2. To stop the ball passing thru the bat, i just changed the "BatWindowSize" from 14 to 16. I have not see the ball pass thru the bat since.

Intro:

This is a Beta fix patch for Sam's Exe Demo which ensures lot of innovative thinks in the game. But there is annoying main bug in that exe.

Bug-Fix:

The main Bug is : The Ball is going through the Bat, How annoying it was?, but no more!, Yes!, this patch ensures the ball is not going through the bat. Tested extensively!, Working well for me!. Test it your self to find out. I also made a tweak for batting that works realistically!.(but don't know how far!- coz am testing with my cgpv3!, here i attach only config file!, So u may have to wait till CGPv3!)

Bugs in Bug:

1. Though i'm tested it extensively still the bug may occur at times!.
2. More Edges!, play safely!
3. Some shots play early!
4. CPU Tends to select wrong shots at times!(like going for leg-glance when the ball pitches outside off stump!)

May be these bugs will be addressed in CGPv3!

Supported game Mode:

As this is a beta, This fix only supports "Test Matches / First Class Matches" on HARD Mode only. All Others will be incorporated with CGPv3!.

Installation:

Install the file "sambugfixboss.zip" by "Graphics Impoter v3 by Prakash" by using "Import as Zip" option. As simple as That!. But before that ensure you BACKUP your existing config file incase if you want to switch back.

Now What?:

After playing around a bit have your say at PlanetCricket forums!.(both Sam's exe patches thread on Main forum and CGP patches thread on Downloads Forum)
