Scolari sacked by Chelsea

If they keep sacking managers there will be nobody left!

Tony Adams for manager!!

How good's Avram Grant looking now?

He was always going to get the sack. He was trying to play the same formation as Brazil, but annoyingly for Scolari, Bosingwa and Cole aren't 'quite' as good as Cafu and Roberto Carlos. Seems boring boring Avram was a far better manager than Chelsea fans were giving him credit for. Chelsea's funds seem to have dried up as well, Roman's nowhere near as flash with the cash as he was when Jose was there. Not looking good for Chelsea, a team with only a couple of truely class players, a few has beens and alot of mediocrity.

Indeed, only manager to lead them to a European Cup final. He even got them playing decent football at some stages last season.

It's unfair on Scolari, his style of play was different to Mourinho's so he needed time to bring new players in. It seems Abramovich doesn't want to give a manager that money, and this Chelsea bubble is popping even quicker than I thought it would. City, take note.

Grant was a great manager. He did extremely well for his first season and his playing style was great to watch. Jose was the favourite but the way he got his team to play was pretty crap.

Yes, the winning of the premiership two times is clear evidence of this.

I would say there is a good case for arguing that Cole is actually better than Roberto Carlos tbh, what he lacks in flair he makes up for in various other areas...such as being able to defend.

Couldn't happen to a nicer club and a nicer man than Peter Kenyon could it. I still remember his quote at the start of a season about how the champions would be from a "select group of one".

It's funny how the people jumping on the Grant back in wagon were the same ones agreeing with his sacking.

Another Leeds United coming up
