This! You hit the target right on the head.

It's the same with me, and I am such a perfectionist that even a minor glitch or "immersion breaker" in a match and I feel the whole match is ruined.

That's the way to go with this game!
Before I started my current series I had to restart after playing the warm up match. I had set up a full tour, including a warm up match, then 2 tests then a tour match, followed by the remaining 3 tests. After completing the warm up match and just as I was about to play the first test, I noticed that the second test was down to be played at the WACA instead of Adelaide, so I deleted the file and started again. Just glad I hadn’t played any of the actual series. Silly things really, but they definitely impact the immersion for me.

I feel that!

Same!

This could be an interesting, doubt victory is on the cards, but a decent day With the bat and you could get the draw

Showed some fight at was 243-4 but spin started to get very tricky. Set them a small 115 to win and they are currently 47-1.

3-0 the Indians have run rampant down under.

Well I’ve had a little bit more luck down under, albeit I’m playing against the Aussies, however after going 1 up in Brisbane, the lack of swing, low wicket chance (even lower for spin) and a poor first dig with the bat, has put me well and truly up against it.

I scrambled to 229 all out and as I put the controller down to take the dog out, Australia had just reached 400 for the loss of only 4. Hussey and North at the crease and both well set in the 80s.

2nd Test Adelaide - Eng lead the series 1-0
Well after each side batting once, it’s fair to say that the hosts are in front, and by quite some distance. England require, (calculating numbers)… a miracle!

After putting up just 229, the tourists were made to toil in the field, with 3 Aussie batsman making half centuries and 1 making a unbeaten ton.

Hussey goes upstairs

DRS confirms a correct decision from Tony Hill and England finally have a breakthrough

Hussey frustrated the England bowlers, but fell agonisingly close to his 100

North rode his luck at times, and certainly wasn’t as fluent as Hussey - hitting just 1 boundary in his first 50 runs, but he dug in and made it count

In addition to being a very frustrating bowling effort, there was also an odd batting line up switch up from Australia which I’ve not seen the AI do before. This was in the morning, so not exactly a night watchman. Ponting clearly felt that Siddle could use some time at the crease against my less than impressive bowling unit

Currently about 50 for 1 in reply, only another 220 odd until parity

1st Ashes Test, The Gabba
Having bowled Australia out for 345 the England openers needed to ensure a good solid start, but at 11 for 1 and then 3 down for 88, you could certainly argue that they hadn’t managed that.

In at 5 was Paul Collingwood, who had been in good form the past 12 months. He joined Pietersen at the crease and the pair began to build a steady, but good partnership.

KP eventually fell to the short ball, but at 285 for 4 and just 60 runs behind with 6 wickets remaining, England were in the driving seat.

Ian Bell wasn’t at his fluent best, but battled hard on a wicket that had good bounce and carry, eventually falling for 72. England were in the lead though, and looking to drive home the advantage.

Wicketkeeper batsman Matt Prior was in at 7 late on day 3, but he survived the last 20 minutes or so and then got to work on the morning of day 4.

He lost wickets around him, but managed to keep the strike long enough to do more damage to the Aussie bowling attack. Prior was the last wicket to fall, with England amassing a lead of 137.

With the best part of 2 days to play, it was England’s turn with the ball again and if there was to be any chance of winning this first test, early wickets was the key…
What is your AI slider settings? I am happy with the batting sliders but always gets the AI out for cheap.

I have had mine set to wicket chance 45 and over the 4 test matches the AI have scored:

226
238-6
362
321
500
220
264

And they have changed per pitch with one pitch being used twice producing similar scores.

The big thing for me though is bowling with HUD off and smaller bowler release and jump windows.

Also I massively lower flight drift etc.. but again seen variation:

Lyon 1-126 in the 3rd Test

Then he bounced back on a different deck with 10 in the match at Melbourne
