But in 2013 even if gameplay was good having graphics like u described will soon grate on you. Presentation whilst not as important as gameplay still has a very important part to play!

I agree but come on Phil for people going on about the quality of the grass from a screenshot in a game that allows me to determine how many balls are to be bowled in an over to mention just one very small detail is in my opinion pedantic to the nth degree....

The aim of the screenshots was to a) show the game is real and we're not just all talk and b) that the characters created indeed translate into the game reasonably well.

There are so many things that "could" have happened before that ball hit the stumps, I can't remember if it was clean bowled or not.

If it is a Full Toss delivery which landed just at the bottom of the stumps. Then bails can fall pretty close and as the stumps takes off the pace of the ball it can also be pretty close to the stumps. Moreover it can be a played on sort of a thing. You can't judge it you know.
