i personally would like dhoni to forget about finishing for some time and open with mcculum and go bonkers like him and just enjoy and develop his batting, as of now dhoni is waiting for bowlers to put it in his slot which they are not doing most of the time and sparse, two they have started using short balls effectively while dhoni has no trouble against short ball if not one of our better players against it but he wont be able to pull and hook regularly for six like he does against length and full ones. even yorkers.
though its evident that he is working on it i guess from that maxwell like shot he played,

Some really weird tactics by Delhi today. Starting with their selection, why no Manoj Tiwary and Mohammed Shami in the final 11? What's the point behind picking a 34 years old medium pacer over the leader of the Indian bowling attack in shorter format? Shreyas Iyer and Mayank Agarwal are both very talented but you can't leave out Manoj Tiwary for them. Albie was amazing in today's match as he batted throughout the inning which is not his natural game but he still kept DD in the match all the time. Why did they have Yuvraj and JP at 6 and 7? They are their 2 main batsmen and should be batting at 3 and 4. Let Kedar Jadhav and Albie perform the finishing role because they have done that before. JP was mismanaged last season by Delhi and I was hoping since he is the captain this time, he would push himself up the order but he has done the exact opposite. It's amazing how everyone can see the flaws with the team except the captain and the coach. JP needs to bat number 3 and have Yuvraj at 4. They also have the option of Angello Matthews but today's inning from Albie will keep Angello out unless they drop Imran Tahir. This should be their team for the next game.
