Looking at the List of Players Released, I think the following players will be interesting to watch -

Ind - Dinesh Karthik, Murali Vijay (Given the form he is in, the bidding could go through the roof), Zaheer Khan, Amit Mishra, Yuvraj Singh (His ranji form should see him fetch a gazillion bucks again),

Overseas - James Neesham, Kevin Pietersen, Ross Taylor, Jacques Kallis, Aaron Finch, Darren Sammy

Lets also not forget that virutally the whole of the SL unit will be up for grabs. Last year due to their clash with tour to Eng, the franchises had stayed away from them. So the likes of Sanga and Matthews should be interesting auctions too.

Will there be Pak players involved, well I think probably yes, as Pakistan are due to tour sometime soon, and perhaps Pak players can be allowed into the auction now. Who knows though.

It will be an interesting auction. Any idea when it is. Someone above posted will be on the Sunday in 3rd Week of Jan, which has already passed. So any ideas.[DOUBLEPOST=1422047060][/DOUBLEPOST]Also don't quite understand why DD have let the likes of KP and Taylor go.

Some big Names including KP , Hussey brothers , DK , Yuvraj , Ross Taylor along with 47 others were released by their respective franchise into the IPL 8 auctions.
On a surprising note , CSK being under some fixing matters has made some changes too even after the questions raised by the Indian Supreme Court on their disqualification.

53 Players Retained and Transferred

I can't understand what Delhi Daredevils want from them. Everytime they release a couple of players and get nothing :D
And
Why SRH released Aaron Finch!!

I would like to see whether IPL team bosses have done their homework. Most times they pay too much for a player just because of their popularity. If they have really done their work I can see Rampaul's bidding price hitting his personal the new high by some margin.

If don't think they'd accept him for free to be honest .

Clarke has absolutely no chance given his prone state, not too sure on the Sri Lankan schedule this year and Bell isn't on the England t20 teamsheet really, and I'd have thought a good few other English players would be ahead of him.

Most of the England players wont be picked up due to their availiblity, England play tests during the end stages of the IPL so most of the franchies wont buy those guys who represent the national side. Tough i see KP as a hot property given that he will be in the primary list and it would be good if Bopara is picked by a team which needs #6 as a finisher....

RCB will be bidding on Yuvraj Singh , Amit Mishra , Darren Sammy as last year RCB showed big intrest on these players. How ever i feel they will go for Angelo Mathews , Pragyan Ojha , Sean Abbott and Hashim Amla. Why Hashim Amla RCB will take pride in keeping #1 #2 & #3 ODI batsmen in the side...

Hales , Morgan , Wright , Bopara , KP & Stokes seem to be the only English players who can attract some bids in the tournament.
