Always wondered what exactly the Britney stadium patch someone submitted did :D

That's the stump cam.
No, if you look at the screnshot, you'll see that it's looking at a batsman getting bowled, and from an angle to the pitch, so how could it possibly be from stump-cam?
I think shaneos just went to paint brush and flipped it manually.
Nope. If you take a close look at all the replay views in Cricket 2002 you'll see that you never get a shot with this composition (ie, so much "dead space" or looking at nothing).
The only thing I can think is that it's from the fielder point-of-view replay and the fielder has done that weird Matrix-style defying gravity thing where they rotate in space.

PS What's the story on that screen, Iniyan? Did you mess with stadium textures or the stadium model (or did you just cut and paste the cricket (minus the stadium) over the top of one of the background images?)

I just removed the stadium and put red sand as outfield. We guys at home were planning to get someyhing interesting, like getting a village game, you know with all these trees around, players with shorts and those crooked stumps, bicycles around the stadium, etc. -- A typical Indian playground. :D :D That screenshot is the first part of it. No stadium.

I am not happy B'coz it was a no ball bowled by me in the game. ;) <_< -_-  :saywhat:
The teams were Sri Lanka and Pakistan. I was Pakistan. I was Bowling and it was Waqar Younis who bowled the batsman(Jayasuria) with the noball.

That would be great if you could do that, Iniyan! Some of the grounds I've played cricket on have been on weird slopes or had trees inside the boundary or no grass at all, just dirt and stones, or really long boundaries square of the wicket and extremely short straight boundaries (or vice-versa)! I am waiting eagrely for what is to come next! How long until we get the "Village Cricket Patch"???

PS Bummer about that no-ball, sohaibaslam!

PPS Reminds me of that annoying bug in C2K2 - the computer never bowls no-balls!!!

um i rememeber a few years a go i was playing at an oval near the Yarra River and i hit the ball in (this was in a match, year 9 A cricket team i think)

Looking good there Iniyan.

What about Kent's ground in Canterbury, England. It's hosting a ODI this year, and it has a tree inside the boundary!
