Yeah, to hooper and to KBC:
Is that like a mac "sidebar" thing?
I heard my friend had one on his, I would like one lol. MY desktop is so cluttered.

Yeah its called Object Dock. Its like the Mac sidebar. Its awesome, looks neat and makes sure the desktop aint cluttered.

Shame it doesnt work anywhere near aswell as the Mac Object Dock. It's a fair enough mod though, does the job if you cannot afford a mac. I'll be getting myself a macbook in January so i'll have the real object dock :P

Having said that, If you don't want a mac then why would you want to make your pc look like one I suppose. I have a very simple way of keeping my windows desktop uncluttered and it doesn't require any mods at all (It also works for all versions of windows).......

.....Just dont have loads of icons on your desktop, that's what the bloody start bar is for!!!

Yeh exactly. I hate it when i see people's desktops and they're crammed full of pointless icons, even icons for single documents and install files. Folders and the start menu are for that, sort your desktops out people . Also, crap resolution with windows looks shocking, anything below 1280x1024 just looks disgusting tbh, although that's more to do with people's monitors. My Dell monitor does the job perfectly, my desktop is nice and tidy and at a high res . i might even post a screen later.

This is my desktop on the downstairs Vista, it's pretty new, so we're trying to keep it pretty clear. Most of my games are on my XP upstairs, I've got FM 07 on both, and 08 upstairs, which reminds me I need to install it down here!
