It's right. Normal signatures can surely have the above limit but animation signatures can be constrained if at all. You're getting an upgrade and that's better.

He said you're aren't allowed to use ANY animated signatures if he did the update. I don't think the WHOLE forum will agree to this. That's the reason the rule is better the way it is now.
 
Hmm..Considering signatures are integral and funny part of the forum, there could be 'litesurf', which actually enables the user to rather disable the signatures or limit the signatures to text while viewing.

Yeah one could do that, but it only makes our (gfx artists) condition worse, doesn't it?
 
It's really upto the people's wish. Not to mention litesurf is a feature of opera and catching upto the other union browsers. So there's no harm. Litesurf actually compresses the images' quality to display pages faster. So that's a great advantage.

IDK but I'm happy with the things as they are now. They aren't bad considering this is not a graphics forum. The grass appears greener on the other side though.. :p
