I honestly do not know.. I feel like sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn’t. So I always set and restart. Or to be safe I play a game with the sliders set before even starting.
I’m not a big fan of tinkering mid game purely due to the nature of the game and how things pan out over a long long period. You may not see edges for 25 overs then get 6 in 10 overs etc.
Appreciate the response mate.
Started an Aus v Eng test on a Grassy/Med MCG wicket and had a lot of fun for the 60 overs I played.
Had wicket chance way up, striker timing (20) and run rate (10) way down on the AI side.
Reduced pitch friction (25) and bounce and minimised the skill influence on edges for both high and low skill batters.
Think I had them 7/82 at tea, all wickets caught behind/slips, one genuine gloved trying to sweep the spinner. The AI genuinely played proper cricket shots, attacked when I bowled too wide/overpitched or got onto the pads.
Was interesting how much wider I had to bowl to Smith compared to Marnus as he would genuinely work me to the leg side from off stump, just like real-life. Nice little touch there.
Obviously these aren't the sliders to use for a competitive contest, but was fun to see the sliders having tangible effects on the gameplay.
