SLOW ON INTEL 845 g chipset

My game runs slowly the player takes 4 minitus to throw the ball
My configurtion is as follow
Intel celeron 1.7 Ghz
Intel 845g chipset
Cmedia 9738 audio
Please help me

harsh471 are u talking about cricket 2002 or cricket 2004.
Asuming that it is about Cricket 2004,I'm moving this toic to Cricket 2004 central.

I had a similar problem and it was solved by uninstalling Norton Antivirus and preventing unimportant programs from running in the background.
