Snow

expecting 1 foot snow tonight in Boston  its really annoying when u have to clean ur driveway and then wait untill ur car heats up :crying. Hopefully by the end of feb, weather will be normal and thats when we start out outdoor cricket

We always get a fair bit of snow and icy roads around this time of year here in various parts of Sheffield.
I prefer to stay in as much as possible when it's like this....plenty to do on the computer of course so it's ok.

There's no much snow up here in Cumbria but the hell with the floods in Carlisle espcially is nearly over, it was terrible, thank God that trouble is almost over, with thousands of homes wrecked, Tony Blair said he'll spend money on stopping floods again in Carlisle and the rest of Cumbria, but it remains to be seen if he actually does it!

For those of you that didn't know here's the havoc caused in west Cumbria:

What on earth has this got to do with snow? I'd usually just delete the post, but I really want to hear the explanation for this one!

Never seen snow before, its always hot and humid :(

Yes,That's typical Tamil Nudu climate.Always hot,temperatures never go less than 27 C,even in winters.In summers around 45+ C.

it's summer here at th emo', but i live in the alps in nz so snow is just still on the peaks. It's funny hearing ppl 'stay in' when the snow hits - me and my mates hit the slopes for a heli ski/board. Although we had a few avalanches and creeks blow out recently. Some rocks where the size of houses. Awesome....

yeah my mother just moved there to carlisle - the day b4 the floods she was telling me how quiet and beautiful it all was - the next she was without power for over a week i think.

Wouldn't rely on blair to act like god and stop the flooding. He might think he's a christian but he's certainly no god......sea levels are rising and that is a fact - we just have to respect nature not try to overpower and dictate to her.
A maori belief is when we are not at one with nature and living with the land then the gods will shake the ground. (earthquakes). And i think the uk gets them now and again. We had a 7.2 on the richter scale a while ago- boy the gods were angry....
