Snow

It snowed for a while yesterday, and with the wind it was like a blizzard. The dusting is still out there this morning. There are blue skies though, so it won't last long.

I slept the the snow this morning and woke up with a layer of it outside, its all melted now though, ah well, nice while it lasted!

Got 11" of snow yesterday. I cleaned the driveway of 5" of it at night, went to a grueling day of work and 8 hours later came back to shovel 6" more of it.

I don't know if I've said it before, I hate snow.

I saw the weather and saw Kent getting it pretty bad. I'm sure it is not as bad as up here though. It must have snowed all night. There are already a good few cm's of it

Don't think its all that bad down here, my weather sidebar thingy (yes that's the technical term) shows sunshine over Canterbury. Just a light dusting here really. Here's a pic from my window

Is that it I thought from the weather forecast I saw before Match of the Day you guys would be getting about the same as us.

You cant even distinguish the road from the grass/pavement up here. I would post a pic but my phone is being difficult :

Yep, thats it, although in all fairness that's a fairly main road the van is on, so its been salted. You can normally see hills from that viewpoint, maybe they look a bit whiter

Things have changed from when I lived there then. The council never salted the roads and were always caught out by the snow

Oh I think in places this year, roads have looked whiter with salt than they ever get with snow

LOL. Just typical. Go from one extreme to the other. I remember being about 6 and just watching cars slide past our house (on a hill) with all their wheels completely locked up.

Still snowing really heavily here. Beginning to pile up in front of the garage. I'm thinking there's a very slim chance of my golf match now happening

Spring is here, Spring the Savior!

It's just beautiful outside, touching 70 degrees today and I absolutely loved it. Would have been an awesome day for cricket but alas, it's the US!

Winter makes me depressed.

Because I've only ever seen snow besides on tv once.
