BCV. :p Wanderers read the rules you can't nominate for your story.:sarcasm

Why would you vote for your own story :facepalm

Anyway. I wonder who will win this one. I thought the IPL would win it but I guess it could go either way.

No worries. If he thinks that his story is the best, he can vote for himself.

What kind of tool votes for their own story.. :facepalm

I think nominees votes shouldn't count.

Voted for Gary's
Easily the best, but Wanderers story is good to.
Good Luck to the 5 stories.
I dont think Gary can survive another narrow defeat. ;)

Sad how times have changed in the story forum. I remember the days of some really good stories, now I just see is silly little leagues and stories with just no substance to them :( Don't even get me started on the type of members who are now active in this forum :facepalm

Cause I am too old, don't have enough time to write up and don't have enough time to play the games. Choice between going on a night out or writing a story...well I don't think that is a hard choice ;) Just wish there were some new people who could take over the reigns from us old farts :p

There still are,mind you.
I think i know what you're saying but cricket leagues are the flavour of the season ATM.
They allow others to take part in them rather then just reading (like in stories)

I am trying really hard with my story to get the storyline, presentation and graphics all up there! And Surendar (if, like me, he could keep regularly updating) is doing a terrific story! But yes, I agree- way too many leagues. I remember as a story-reader, I used to decide which stories to read first out of those done by Highlander999, MWaugh, Shantanu_Rooney, Jarl/Jaarl (I think?!), gamerkid, Pakistani Army- the list went on. Now there are too many Cricsim/ICC stories with little substance as you say. While graphics aren't as important, there is still a real lack of quality graphics, and the writing, presentation has surely decreased in quality.
Unfortunately, all the 'greats' seemed to have moved on, although there are a couple of stories out there that might just step up.
Speaking for myself, I know my story will take some months to complete, the way I have it mapped out. Hopefully I will continue to have the time and patience to keep improving!

Mate, I use Cricsim as a base for match result, not for the sake of online play.
And No problems, its a revolution in Stories section writing a story based on other members.
I think its nothing offensive breaking rules etc etc..
