Sound dissapeared

Wonder if any of you kind folks can tell me why the in game sounds (commentary/sound FX etc) might have dissapeared despite them all being turned on in the menus.

I have al the latest sound card drivers & the music that goes with the opening game video/EA Sports logo works...........

Also the run assist is greyed out.

I'm using Radaga's patch at present - nothing else altered...........

the run-assist is greyed out in the options when using hard mode.

As for the sound missing - I've had commentary disappear from time to time, but the background sounds remain. The commentary has returned on the next game without needing to restart cricket2004.

I am using Sam's .exe and Tutsi's ver 3.0 AI.

mate my sound has gone as well, i think radaga's patch deleted some file, now i have no sound

i fixed it by putting the game CD in & pressing reinstall from the menu - this simply reinstalled the sound file & everything is now fine.........

Radaga's patch deletes Snd_PC.pak LOL, let's hope he can get it fixed with v3
