Special English Release

Sorry... too busy watching another smashing victory!

Yes, another embarrassing effort from our very poor team.
Had to turn it over. If I see Brad Haddin's grinning face once more I think I might puke.

Hehehe, what are you talking about he's a great bloke. Not sure if anyone saw it I need to get a photo of it but when Brad Haddin did the sprinkler towards the barmy army after the last win was great.

He might be 'a great bloke' but he has the sort of grinning visage that you want to slap.
I bet the barmy army appreciated that.

I'm not angry with any Australian player. They deserved to win.
I'm not a great KP fan but he couldn't have done any worse.

Yes, Cook and Flower have to accept a large slice of the blame for this disastrous tour.
I hate it when, after a severe defeat, Cook says that they have to take the positives out of the game and they can learn from their defeats. Utter rubbish. There are no positives from such crushing defeats and they don't learn.
I think they might return to England individually to avoid being noticed.

Why does Cook even play 1 day games. He is a slow boring test player always has been stick to tests Cook and leave 1 day games to aggressive players.

Just for the sake of balance...

Cook ODI SR: 78.56

Ian Bell: 74.98
Clarke: 78.89
Bevan: 74.16
Hayden: 78.96
M Waugh: 76.90
Ponting: 80.39

Always has been a slow boring test player?

Hardly.

It's been a bad tour for the English gentlemen that for sure, cook is a good oneday player and was a great test player. He is in bad form and needs to get's his mojo back fast or he could lose the captain's role he has at the moment.

PS Still if he is not captain then who the hell would you give it to, KP:lol.

PS Cook can be boring sometimes, get's into two minds and does not know how to play. Sunday is going to be fun.

I have. I quoted something similar on this forum a couple of days ago my man.
I will be watching the upcoming tests against South Africa with much interest.:yes Can't wait to see how your batters cope with Morne Morkel.

lol yeah...Steyne, Philander, Morkel...can you think of a more potent red ball pace attack??

Still though, I LOVED the 3 test series they played here last year (I think it was), where Clarke was on fire.

What aust needs is a proper No 3 - I'm hoping Shaun Marsh gets the call. he was touted as the next No 3 but had a poor run (they all have a poor run) and was dropped promptly thereafter. He showed good grit in the last 2 games, esp last night as being the anchor.

The thing that is positive about the Australian's at the moment is they know that all the games against England mean bugger all, they know the real test is still to come, just handy when everything is just working well right now, can go in with a bit of momentum and positive vibe.

Shaun Marsh has officially replaced Bailey for the SA tour, however the selectors seem to have forgotten they tried him a few years ago and he showed us all that he is a terrible batsman. He has made 17 runs in his last 7 innings (0,0,3,0,11,3,0).
