Your Cricket Spray paint helmet?

I want to spray paint my helmet a different colour. Is that ok?
It's a plastic shell, I doubt a bit of paint will do any damage to the plastic, it's only paint

i can't see why it would damage it. the only thing that might happen is the plastic could have a reaction with the paint, but i doubt it.

If you are planning on using car spray paint, my guess is that the paint will damage the helmet. If you used a water based spray paint, you'll probably be ok. Do not blame me if not though!

Spray paint (meaning the stuff you buy in cans from stores) is incredibly weak and the helmet would only look good for a week at most, then it would start flaking and wearing away.

Car spray paint though is incredibly heavy duty and as Kev said, It'd have a good chance of damaging the helmet.

I hope you dont wanna faint when your batting because you dont want those fumes from the paint knocking you out......
