:o I don't think this has been done before but I've just remixed the HOMEBAT and AWAYBAT wav files into stereo sound...they add a new dimension to the game.
Anyone interested?
The files are obviously bigger now HOMEBAT(19.7MB) AWAYBAT(15.1MB) but trust me they sound terrific.
Where should I upload the files , probably a few at a time if anyone wants them ...

Sounds good steve; as you say, upload a few at a time for us poor 56kers :( :) .

Looks like you have done a great job. PM Vineet for upload info. But, don't post it here in the forum, because 34 MB is a lot to be put up in the forum.

i don`t think that he can upload it here anyway

and i think steve you can pm vineet nd he will put it on the site ok

and good work

He has been requested by Jonah to put it up in parts. Putting up in parts all the files is the same as putting up as a single file.

No you misunderstood. I meant to upload it to Vineet's site in parts, not as one huge file, so they can be d/l seperately.

Hello :D
Sent an email to Vineet for his thoughts about the wavs.
Some of them are fairly big ....sent one to myself to see how long it took .
A 661KB wav took about 5 minutes on my 56k,but to anyone with dial up I'd say they are worth waiting for.
Using iMagic Audio Editor I have made them from the original wavs with stereo crowd sounds mixed in from another game...I won't say which just in case! ;)

:cheer:

What he means is that downloading several parts takes the same time as downloading one big file, possibly even longer.
No, I think in my opinion Jonah is right. Because some people have dial-up connections and you could disconnect and some times download accelerators also are not supported.

I have Dial-up connection and its very slow.

One day I was downloading the Nvidia driver update it was 10 MB and it took me nearly two hours to download 9.87 MB and at that time the line got disconnected.

So what I mean it's better to keep for downloading in parts. IT JUST MY OPINION.

What I'm saying is from a time point of view, it will take just as long to download all the separate files as it will to download one big file. That is fact.

ya iniyan you are very right but the same thing like wcxp it was in 21 parts and it was easy to download for the dial up users i downloaded it in 3 to 4 days but i was worth it.

As long as resume download is supported, then that's fine by me, to have one big file.

yeah I agree with jonah if resume is available that it would work fine for dialup users also

 Vineet sent me some details but I don't know how to get started uploading the files ... haven't done this before. :sorry:
Can anyone help in the meantime.

Problem solved ..... thanks Vineet.
