Well Clarke's avas look good to me..Try some effects in the sig and change the font...IMO,you should Keep the font plain..As far as Wasim Akram's avas are concerned...it looks decent...add some more fx and try different blend modes and filters..All the best.....Btw correct Michel to Michael in the sig.

Then...make a new psd..experiment with it a lot...As simon said in his thread..keep looking at the gfx till it seems fantastic to your eyes..keep adding an element...try to do and undo it and see what effect does it have on it..Add textures..light sources...and a little bit of Spices....filters and adjustments...And create a masterpiece!!!

The middle Clarke one is clearly overdone. But the rest two are really good. Play with the opacity of layers. As for the Akram one, try to zoom out the stock so it looks better.

You've overdone most of them.For avy's go simple and play well with the effects.And work more on the placement along with its size.
