System Restore HELP

Hi,

My copy of Cricket 2004 arrived in the post today.

I wanted to install it, but my CD drive wasn't detecting anything.

I updated my PC on Saturday and I thought that might be something to do with it. So I did a system restore to last Thursday.

C2004 works but I get all the crap like AVG Antivirus which I've uninstalled trying to start up.

How do I get rid of the crap? It won't let me in the Add/Remove Programs

You should be able ti disable it by right clicking on it in the task bar thats what i do then whe you want it back on enable it.

Open Regedit.

Goto

HKey_Local_Machine
Software
Microsoft
Windows
Current Version
Run

Stuff in that key will be what is trying to run on startup, you can delete what you dont want to startup.

Or, you can download a program called Add/Remove Plus, this will get rid of those annoying programs which wont uninstall.
