Is there a list of our squad/team used in the games and types?

I think preferably we should go into these matches with 4 pure bowlers one of which is a spinner and then a batting or pure all rounder.

Well my main concern is getting the bug fixed, because we were doing very well bowling first until the system crashed and next thing you know, game got started again and we bat first and failed!!!

I wouldn't read too much into that other match. It wasn't even using the same sim as the matches we were doing decently in.

I believe Kshitiz said he would be updating the first page today, but that is yet to be updated. I have already called for the full team and a link to the PCCL website, to be placed on the first page for easy access.

Ok this is getting serious!!! Where is the team leader and why all this delay in updating The Bandits team page?? Mate we need to know who is Captain, VC (if any), Manager come on mate get the move on!!

Wait a sec, the match thread is opened while I'm asleep (2:08 a.m), I've been asked to get the lineup in before 5 p.m. I hope you guys understand that I don't sit on PC the moment I wake up in the morning, and that I have other commitments such as Uni / College, family, etc. I returned from Uni at around 5:30 and couldn't log in before now. I should at least have had 24 hours to get my lineup in!

I understand that the schedule got messed up due to the last match being late but the deadline shoudl at least be 24 hours from the opening of the thread!

Let me know if you still think it was my fault I missed the match.

As to who is VC, I hope you all understand that this is a pre-season tournament and a way for me to see who can step up to the job. I was planning to appoint the VC after the pre-season when I would know who is the person who has the skill to run the team while I'm away, if anytime I am. So rest assured it is not something I've missed.

As to the team lists, I apologize, but my schedule's been really hectic these past few days with around 15 hours of work / uni combined, and family commitments, etc. My keyboard has died so I'm on another PC as of now, and I'll try my best to get the team lists and everything done by tonight.

Kshitiz I have one question, in your absence can someone else post the lineup?? Pre-season or not, we got owned and if you have PC issues (sometimes we all do) then at a point in time the lineup can be done if you are not available.

And yes I understand that there is life outside of PC, so no problem we just need to get organized! I have seen some of the other Team Threads and they are well arranged.
Are all our 13 players aware that they are on the team? Did you send them a PM or VM so they can be active and participate in this thread and game threads?

As to the current match I don't feel I missed out anything and it was just too much to expect of someone, especially in my time zone as I explained in the post.

To set the lineups you need to login and I'm not willing to share the login information with too many people in case it leaks out and someone else mis-uses it. I'll be sharing it with a select few of you and I'll be sending out PM's to you.

Some of hte players in our team are inactive even on PC and I just picked them up to fill the team. If you can bring any free agent to the team, I'll take them on as we have a few empty places!

I'll try and get the other stuff organized.

I know what the inactive part can be like, I once was part owner of a team and I did ask the question because I visited a couple team pages and saw their post count was doing very well, means that their players are involve, so if the market is open for Free Agents then am on the hunt for a couple.

We have way too many all-rounders. We need to juggle them around changing a couple to pure batsmen and we need to change one of them into a keeper as I can't see one in our squad.

Probably do with me or MattW changing into a spinner. I don't mind doing that if needs must.

Cheers for that Themer! I was just seeing the ratings, I earlier thought that Batting AR's had awesome ratings, only 5 points lower than a normal batsman for batting. But I guess their bowling is not all that good... Yeah we might need a spinner or two, especially for our home pitch.

If you can get a few free agents signed up that would help the team combo!

I have set the following lineup for this match, considering we never fully got to test it during the two games:

K Bakshi*, Bounce, KBC, vasand†, Shan, N Marcell, s 1135, MattW, A Gupta, J Walton, WestIndian

A bit too many all rounders in there, some will have to change to pure bat / bowl probably, but we'll see that after this match. vasand's keeping for this match. Lets hope the sim uses our proper bowlers this time!

I was about to put the team Themer posted in the first post but realized that I might as well just wait for this match, after which we finalize the player type changes, and I do it in a lot better way than I'm gonna do it now!
