Ya, you can connect them. It's upto you to buy a monitor or use a TV. I personally prefer monitor if it is for a long run. Televisions generally are not built to be in close proximity.
Should i remove the set top box connection or i can keep both ?

If it's a HD set top box, even that will be using HDMI cable. So, you have to remove the set up box connection.
No its not. Its just connected with RCA cable.
And what about ups?
Is it gonna work with TV?

Why can't you connect UPS with TV ? I mean, haven't you given UPS connecton to your switch where your TV is connected ?

It's working. Thanks for your help.
But the only problem i am facing now is sometimes the screen goes black for 5-10 sec. Its fine while doing normal stuff but during game if it goes black then when it comes back i am out. Or dead.
It always goes off in serious situation :p
It disconnect automatically showing error no signal. and then come back.

That could be due to the HDMI cable. Sometimes if we touch the wire, or if there is loose connection, the problem you stated might happen.

How to block a certain website in PC? I'm on Windows 8.1. Please don't tell me the "hosts file" thing. I've found it to death on google and it's not even working.

Try using Family Safety/Parental Control and then go to "web filtering".

Hello I am planning to buy a new laptop. I am looking at these configuration,

Processor
6th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-6700HQ Processor (2.60GHz 1600MHz 6MB)
Operating system
Windows 10 Home 64
Display
17.3" FHD IPS AntiGlare with integrated camera (1920x1080)
Graphics
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M 4GB
Memory
8.0GB PC4-17000 DDR4 2133 MHz
Hard Drive
1TB 5400 RPM
Optical Drive
External DVD Recordable
Network Card
Intel Wireless-AC 8260
Bluetooth
Bluetooth Version 4.0
Warranty
One year
Pointing device
ClickPad
Battery
4 Cell 60 Watt Hour Li-Polymer

This will cost me $979.

Also if I up the Ram to 16GB it will cost me $100 more which I will prefer.

Can someone suggest if its a good buy?

Anyone knows about a good screen recorder? FRAPS makes videos of huge sizes. I'm looking something that records screen activity and saves it as low sized videos and lets me edit the not so good part out of it. I am looking for something like mobizen for PC. Free is preferable.

If you are on Windows 10 try the xbox recorder.

I use this one - Screencast-O-Matic

It's free, not resource hungry and easy on the hard drive as well.

The only downside is a 15-minute cap on the free version.
