For the simple fact that Sky bid more money than Channel 4. I believe some of their reasoning was that "cricket is an unpredictable sport". Most probably spent too much money on another reality show.gambino said:man sometimes i wish i wasnt english
why do other countries get free cricket matches and we dont?
even the subcontinent terresterial channels can afford it so why cant bbc or channel 4?

So would foxtel here in Australia, if it wasn't for the anti-siphoning list (All Australian matches in Australia and the World Cup is covered)Skateboarder said:For the simple fact that Sky bid more money than Channel 4.
And the fact that they wish they could afford it, Nine would outtrump them anyday. Plus there's also the matter that 25% of their stock is owned by James Packer's PBL, which owns Nine, and I think he'd prefer Nine to have the cricket.whitehornmatt said:So would foxtel here in Australia, if it wasn't for the anti-siphoning list (All Australian matches in Australia and the World Cup is covered)
