Story The Bradman - Tendulkar Trophy - Story Stopped For Gods Sake

Shane Bond was expected to do much better than that :facepalm

Good win for my team, but extremely disappointed to see the legend Jesse Ryder bat so low down the order.

Mumbai Win Despite Johnson's and Krejza's Late Partnership to Save the Match

Teams:
Melbourne Masters: Shaun Marsh, Eoin Morgan, George Bailey*, Jacques Kallis, Ross Taylor, Chris Hartley (wk), John Hastings, Mitchell Johnson, Jason Krejza, Kemar Roach, Nathan Bracken

Mumbai Murderers: Virender Sehwag, Kumar Sangakkara* (wk), Mohammad Yousuf, Ryan ten Doeschate, Ajinkha Rahane, Albie Morkel, Ravindra Jadeja, Praveen Kumar, Piyush Chawla, Munaf Patel, Ashish Nehra

Well it was a good pitch to bowl on but Mumbai elected to bat first and put on a good total of 220/7 from their 50 over's. All batsman got starts only 2 batsman not getting into double figures, Kumar (1) and Chawla (4*). Rahane top scored with 38. Johnson, Roach and Kallis all took 2 wickets each while Hastings took 1. 221 was a hard score to chase down and the Melbourne Masters collapsed falling to 80/6, Morgan the last wicket to fall for 40 off 51 opening the batting. Set to lose, Johnson and Hastings put on a 46 run partnership before Hastings was dismissed for 26 off 54. Johnson and Krejza then put on a 71 run partnership but it was way too slow and they fell 20 runs short in the end, finishing 200/8. Krejza was dismissed for 33 off 60 balls while Johnson finished not out on 48 while Roach was the other not out batsman on 2* off 4 balls. Nehra, Patel and Kumar all took 2 wickets each and ten Doeschate and Chawla also took a wicket. Probably closer than they would have liked after having Melbourne at 80/6 but it's a win and that's all that matters. Praveen Kumar was named MOTM for his 2/20 off 8 over's.

I'm going to be giving away some vcash where I will choose 1 match per round which will be predicted to be the most entertaining. The first 3 members to predict the winner will get 5,000 vcash each. So this round.

Round 2 Match Preview - Brisbane Badasses vs Delhi Devils

Both teams came off a win in the opening round and both will be looking for another win in Round 2 but it won't be easy for either side as these 2 teams are pretty evenly matched. Brisbane's stars include Australian's, Phillip Hughes, Brad Haddin, Chris Rogers, Doug Bollinger, Brett Geeves with some good International players in Andrew Strauss, James Anderson and Paul Collingwood. Delhi also have a pretty strong side with Sachin Tendulkar, Rohit Sharma, Zaheer Khan, Pragyan Ojha, Shiv Chanderpaul, Ramnaresh Sarwan and Nuwan Kulasekara. Brisbane didn't really have any stand out performances with the bat as all batsman got starts but Collingwood and McLaren did get unbeaten innings of 41 each while Doherty was the stand out bowler in the opening game, taking 3/27. Delhi had a few stand out performers in their first round match, Kulasekara firstly taking 4/39 before Tendulkar and Chanderpaul both made it into the 90's. Can they repeat their form to give Delhi the win in this close encounter.

Predicted Lineups:

Brisbane Baddases: Phillip Hughes, Andrew Strauss*, Chris Rogers, Paul Collingwood, Brad Hodge, Ryan McLaren, Brad Haddin (wk), Brett Geeves, Xavier Doherty, James Anderson, Doug Bollinger

Delhi Devils: Sachin Tendulkar*, Rohit Sharma, Shiv Chanderpaul, Ramnaresh Sarwan, Shikhar Dhawan, Mithun Manhas, Yogesh Takawale (wk), Morne Morkel, Nuwan Kulasekara, Pragyan Ojha, Zaheer Khan

So predict who will win this match for the chance to win 5,000 vcash. First 3 correct answers will get the vcash.

Thanks for choosing Biggy. It should be a good match. Brisbane look stronger with their batting as long as Tendulkar and Chanderpaul don't do what they did last round while Delhi look stronger in the bowling department. So it will be a good match.

I think that I'm going to stop this story. My Cricket 07 is working again but I'm only allowed to do 2 stories and I wanted to bring my career diary back as people were enjoying that.

Good move mate. This was like husband less wife after you took out managers thingy.
BTW, good luck with that story. Hope you win a SOTM with that:)

Omg... :facepalm
Did you even read the previous post, "I said that I'm stopping this story so stop choosing."
