Canterbury played well during day 2. The batsmen tokk responsibility and made sure they got a comfortable position. However thier plans were made amock with rains lashing the ground before tea and ruined the whole day. They have reached a comfortable postion of 210/4 with a trail of 7 runs and 6 wickets in hand. But 5 of them are bowlers so it PC XI bowlers just need another1 wicket before they can get a collapse.

As for the PC XI and PC XI A match situations, it seems to me that both teams are having hard time having full control of the games. Canterbury is replying strongly to PC XI's total, and Gayle seems to devastate the whole PC XI A squad by himself. It will take great teamwork and effort to get back to the game for these two teams.

Ok wrong choice of words there . Perhaps it was simply the "low post punishment" that brought the hastle back to CCPC, which was just before Amodh returned.
