Following Cnbd_novice's great performance agaist the Norhern Districts, Media were curios to get a interview with the star of the match .They finally got a opportunity when cnbd_novice obliged to the press and answered few questions. His figures of 9/67 gave him man of the match award for PC XI. He is turning out to be a legend

Press •How do you feel to win your first man of the match award?

It is a great honour to be recognized with such a dignified award, and I am truly ecstatic to be rewarded with it. However, obtaining such glory would not have been possible without the support of my teammates, and I express my gratitude towards them for their enduring encouragement throughout my career.A reminder though this is not my first man-of-the-match award. My first one was in the last tri-series I believe.



Press •You have been compared to the likes of Shaun Pollock already, what is your take?

Shaun Pollock is arguably the world’s greatest all-rounder. I don’t think the fact that he is being compared with a young novice really justifies his qualities. However I do consider him as my icon, and will be quite contented if I ever reach his altitude at the international level.


Press •How was the pitch? Was it helpful or were the batsmen more helpful?

The condition of the pitch was rather supportive of batting, and choosing to bowl was a fatal decision for Northern District. As a result, our batsmen capitalized from the opportunity provided by the pitch, and piled up a respectable total against them. And just as the pitch started to deteriorate and support the pace, out captain made an intelligent decision of declaring the innings in order to take the full benefit of the pitch, which turned out to be an ingenious decision as Northern Districts was devastated against our talented pacers.



Press •Your take on the upcoming test matches of PC XI VS New Zealand?

New Zealand is a dynamic team, and they have lot more experience at the international level than PC XI does. But it is important to remember that PC XI has some very proficient players, who become more and more capable with every match they play. If our players demonstrate the same determination and adequacy that they have displayed in the last few matches, New Zealand may have a lot to worry about.

And your first question was:

So just fix that and could you please remove the last sentece from my answer? I wrote that just to explain to you that it in fact wasn't my first man-of-the-match award. Otherwise, great job .

I saw that, but i came to know that it was the seconed man of the match when u told. But the question was asked by the press and not me. MAybe that guy did not have good information.

Great win for PC XI and a deserved MOTM award for cndb, hopefully he will fire in the test series too!

PC XI A have not started well at all, poor batting followed by some loose bowling has allowed a solid West Indies to get the upper hand, it will be tough to come back now, especially with 4 days to go, but I have every faith in the team that they will give it there all and do us proud!

PC XI A haven't posted a large total, and the world-class batsmen of West Indies are looking quite impressive. Lets hope the spin bowlers can turn the game into their way .

Although I haven't played in the warm-up matches, I have been training in the nets to get my batting and bowling into shape. So I hope to be selected in the tests ahead .

Really sorrowful performance by PC XI A, double century by Lara and century by Chanderpaul really did the damage for them. PC XI A is on a tough spot here, and only the 2 day passing out of a 5 day match makes their job even more difficult for them.

A poor performance so far by PC XI A. The legend himself, showed his class and our batsmen have gotten off to a rough start at 48/3. Several of the middle-order batsmen will have to have wonderful innings or this may be a landslide to the West Indies.
